Maurice Mitts is President and Owner of Mitts Law, LLC. He litigates in state and federal courts around the country and has had highly publicized successes for financial institutions, bankruptcy trustees, and public and private corporations and their officers. Maurice’s dedication to his clients and the integrity of the legal process has also been distinguished by his pro bono representations, which include a successful challenge to an Alabama prisoner’s death sentence. Maurice is a member of the Board of Directors of Gratz College. He also mentors law and college students and has volunteered at the Temple Academy of Trial Advocacy. Maurice received an M.A. from Harvard University and a J.D. from Washington College of Law at the American University.
